OvrC is our partner-facing cloud service’s name, and it immediately recalls all of the OvrC features and functionality. Similarly, the 4Sight name provides single-word umbrella branding for our customer-facing cloud services, remote access, Intercom Anywhere, When>>Then, etc.
In the same theme, we felt that after 17 years of development, innovation, and investment, the Control4 audio platform also deserves its name. So, we want to introduce you to Ryff: the new technology branding for the native streaming audio platform within Control4.
The Ryff audio platform provides the highest audio quality, decoding at up to a 192kHz sample rate, at full 24-bit-depth, and includes MQA support. The Ryff platform also includes network-based audio synchronization to prevent echoes and lag across multiple simultaneous zones, including those connected wirelessly. Furthermore, Ryff provides fine-tuned controls like Crossover, Tone Control, and Delays, along with end-user controls like Parametric EQ, media sharing, and multizonal controls. In addition, the Ryff audio experience integrates 12 of the most popular streaming services, including Pandora, Spotify, SiriusXM, TIDAL, and more!
Ryff does not represent ground-up technology; it is a new name for the technology, features, functions and controls for the Control4 Streaming Audio experience, which we all know, love, and have used for years. By giving our audio platform a name, we can now showcase the maturity, stability, and immense value of Ryff to our end customers.
